Guetting System

Charles Guetting, a french mathematician, gives the name to this system and according to myth, got rich at the Monte Carlo Casino through this system.

This system works well when there is clearly a trend in a row, for example, a certain color (eg 8 black vs 4 red) and less well in sessions where a very random session between colours - where the martingale system works better.

The Martingale system works particularly bad when there is a continuing trend against your bet, quickly eliminating your budget. Guetting system can handle it quite well in these situations.

It is a progressive betting system used in bets that pay 1:1 and is based on the concept of levels of progressive betting:

Level One = 1 unit;

Level Two = 1.5 / 2 / 3 units;

Level Three = 4 / 6 / 8 units;

Level Four = 10 / 15 / 20 units;

But can you bet 1.5 units? Yes, if you start with a unit bet of , for example, $2:

Level 1 = $ 2

Level 2 = $ 3 / $ 4 / $ 6

Level 3 = $ 8 / $ 12 / $ 16

Level 4 = $ 20 / $ 30 / $ 40

How does it work this system? - You start with the first bet (€ 2). If you lose, you keep on that bet until you win two consecutive wins.

- After two consecutive wins in the 1st level you go to the second level, ie, $ 2 to $ 3. After two consecutive wins you raise from $3 to $ 4 in the second level - and so on.

- When you lose a bet for the first time, at any level, you pass for the first bet from the previous level eg: bet $4 -> lose -> then bet $2 ...).

- If you won the first bet, at any level, but lose the second bet in the same level - then repeat the bet eg bets $6 -> win -> bet 6$ -> lose -> then bet $6.

What is the advantage of this system? Take advantage of the positive trends to go up with your bet progression and "brakes" if you´re betting in a trend that continuously makes you loose.

Let's illustrate at the table below, where there are multiple systems in use with strong patterns of black and red. We´re Betting or red:

As you can see sessions marked trends of red or black - this system behaves much better.
