D'Alembert System
The D'Alembert system, also known as montant et demontant (upwards and downwards and a pyramid system. It is based on a mathematical equilibrium of the French mathematician D'Alembert presented in "Croix ou Ple" (Heads or tails – analysis of chance) where he argues that the probability of a coin landing heads increased for every time that it came up tails.
D'Alembert system is applied to even money bets only. It assumes that if you win once, it will be less likely for you to win again. Therefore, you bet less.
On the other hand, it assumes if you are losing, it is more likely for you to win again so you should progressively increase your bet. It is a betting progression system.
If you start with an initial bet of 10, and you loose, you add one more unit to the next bet, and after each win, you decrease one unit. It has one undeniable advantage which is to safeguard your accumulated profit, for example, the Martingale System.
This is a system that focuses only on the progressive bet aspect. In other words, you have to continue to have a strategy to choose the numbers or colors.
