Piquemouche System
Piquemouche System
The Piquemouche is a variant of the Martingale system, where the acceleration of doubling bet is purposely reduced. Many players automatically adopt this system when in a difficult situation:
1. When you are losing mvideopokern winning in bets pay videopokerk vs. red),
2. When you unveil a particularly attractive bet in the inside bet (eg: four numbers, six numbers) and bets pay 2:1 (Dozen).
3. It is also used for the player to "sense" the roulette table.
The reason for adopting this system is that in a session where you are loosing more times than you win with the martingal systel you can extend above the maximum bet and therefore unable to cover previous losses -- checkmate.
The sequence in the Martingale system is : $ 1, $ 2, $ 4, $ 8, $ 16, $ 32, $ 64, $ 128, and so on. With Piquemouche, you only double your bets in every three bets : 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 4, 4, 4, 8, 8, 8, 16, 16, 16.

As you can see, unlike the Martingale system, you're not covering your losses in a single stake (in bets that pay 1:1) - you will need a winning streak to do so - for example, if you lose the first 3 bets, then you need win the next 2 bets to return to profit. Thus, this is a system that is also used in inside bets (columns - 2:1, six numbers - 5:1, four numbers - 8:1. |
