4.5 The 1-2-3-6 System

Its name derives from the type of progressive betting system you use, and it's also use in craps game. It is based on the premise that your optimal winning point is at your fourth bet.

In roulette, this betting system is use in bets that pay 1:1, to increase your chances of winning during one of the steps of the betting system.

Your first bet is 1 unit. Let's assume you win, you add another unit, making the second bet a total of 3 units. If your second bet wins, you'll then have 6 units. Of this, you remove 4 units from the table.

This means your third bet will be of 2 units. If you win, you will then have 4 units in the table. At this moment you add the 2 units that previously you removed from the table.

This means that your fourth bet will be 6 units – potential gaining 12 of wich 10 are pure profit. In a nut shell, it is a system that tries to optimize your progressive potential bet in the fourth time by removing units in the third consecutive winning bet and adding in the following one.
